Fertilgold® Organics Earns Certification for 10 Initial Organic Fertilizer Products

Fertilgold® Organics, a new brand of organic fertilizer products from Bio Huma Netics, Inc. (BHN) headquartered in Gilbert, Ariz., has achieved Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) listing for 10 initial products. Of these, 6 OMRI-listed liquid crop nutrition products are based on the company’s proprietary nutrient carrier, Micro Carbon Technology®, which carries nutrients to plants more effectively than traditional organic nutrition products. Those 6 initial Fertilgold® Organics liquid products include Fertilgold® K-6 (potassium), Fertilgold® B (boron), Fertilgold® Ca (calcium), Fertilgold® Mg (magnesium), Fertilgold® Micros I (a balanced mix of S, B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, and Zn), and Fertilgold® Zn (zinc). The other 4 initial OMRI-listed products include dry humic/fulvic acids that are milled to different granular sizes for various uses (Fertilgold® Powder, Fertilgold® Greens, Fertilgold® 1–3 mm, and Fertilgold® 6 mm[-]). The Fertilgold® Organics product line will ultimately feature over 20 products in 7 categories.

These initial 10 products are currently available for sale to commercial organic growers in Arizona and Florida, and they will soon be registered and available throughout the United States and in several other countries. Products that are currently undergoing review for OMRI listing are in the categories of Soil Fertility, Macronutrients, Liquid Humic and Fulvic Acids, Biopesticides, and Surfactants.

BHN Welcomes Jamie Olivarez to the Huma Gro Sales Team

Bio Huma Netics, Inc. (BHN), has selected Jamie Olivarez to be California Sales Agronomist for its Huma Gro® product line. Mr. Olivarez will be based in Sacramento, California, and will be responsible for all Huma Gro® sales and technical support for the Northern California area.

Mr. Olivarez has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from California State University, Chico, along with minor degrees in chemistry and biology. He has worked for several years as a field agronomist, and he has 9 previous years’ experience working in both the public and private sector areas of the biosolids field, including as a regulator for the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Bio Huma Netics Appoints New CFO

Bio Huma Netics, Inc. (BHN), President and CEO Lyndon Smith has announced the appointment of Scott Bostwick to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Bostwick replaces Mike Smith, who is retiring after almost 30 years with the company. BHN produces the Huma Gro®, Huma Gro® Turf, Probiotic Solutions®, and Mesa Verde Humates® product lines.

Mr. Bostwick, an Arizona State University graduate, completed his certified public accountant (CPA) exam in 2007 and, after working in various accounting and finance positions for government and private companies, joined BHN as Senior Director of Accounting in 2014.

Lyndon Smith said, “Mike Smith has been our strong right arm at BHN for nearly 30 years. He provided conservative steady financial guidance through a period of rapid company expansion. With Mike’s insights and contributions sales grew ten-fold, and he has built a solid financial structure that will ensure our success well into the future. This has been especially felt as we launch our new product line, Fertilgold® Organics, in the coming months. I will miss my daily interaction with Mike, but I’m also very confident that Scott has the financial leadership capabilities we need to continue BHN’s growth and success.”

Responsible Ag is the only program in the nation that provides a voluntary comprehensive assessment of a fertilizer manufacturer’s compliance with federal regulations. Certification requires that a facility meet stringent regulatory-based criteria, implement industry-leading safety and security measures, and demonstrate that facility safety is the company’s highest priority.

The Responsible Ag certifying organization was founded in 2014 to promote the public welfare by assisting agribusinesses to comply with federal environmental, health, safety, and security rules regarding the safe handling and storage of fertilizer products. Mesa Verde Resources es una empresa minera de sustancias húmicas que produce, fabrica y vende productos de ácidos fúlvico y húmico.

Además de acceder a una variedad más amplia de productos, los clientes de ambas empresas no notarán mayores cambios en las operaciones diarias. Bio Huma Netics, Inc., and Mesa Verde Resources Form Strategic Alliance

Bio Huma Netics, Inc. (BHN)—an Arizona company that produces products under the Huma Gro®, Huma Gro® Turf, and Probiotic Solutions® brands—has recently formed an alliance with Reid Enterprises LLC, which does business as Mesa Verde Resources in New Mexico. Mesa Verde Resources is a humic substance mining company that produces, manufactures, and sells humic-acid and fulvic-acid products.

Other than access to a greater range of products, customers from the two companies should see no change in day-to-day operations. There will be no immediate change in personnel at either company, and the two companies will continue to operate separately under separate names for the immediate future.

This alliance is expected to facilitate a synergistic relationship between the BHN lines of agriculture, turf, and wastewater/soil remediation products and the Mesa Verde Resources line of humic and fulvic products for both domestic and international markets. While BHN has previously focused on a fraction of humic substances to extract the Micro Carbon Technology® used as a base for all its liquid products, the combined company will now offer its customers an even greater selection of dry and liquid products that includes MVR’s various formulations of humic and fulvic acids.

Bio Huma Netics has averaged over 20% growth per year over the last 10 years. With the Mesa Verde alliance, combined company sales are expected to increase by 30% in 2017.

The free Huma Gro® app, available on Google Play, provides a foliar application calculator for determining how much product to apply to specific crops on any size of field based on lab analysis, a continuously updated product document library, a product mixing guide, and the ability to save product application data and calculations by field.
